Auto-zoom screen recording
Screen recordings that zoom in on every click
Full-screen recordings are hard to follow: the important part is a small button somewhere in a big screen. Demique fixes that automatically, adding a smooth zoom on every click and following your cursor while zoomed in.
How auto-zoom works
While you record, Demique's free click-capture extension notes where and when you click in web pages. When you open the editor, each click becomes a smooth camera move, and clicks close together are combined into one continuous pan, so the video feels shot rather than stitched.
Clicks in desktop apps or the browser's own toolbar aren't visible to the extension. For those, double-click the video in the editor to add a zoom exactly where you want it.
Full control when you want it
- Re-generate all zooms from your clicks in one click
- Drag zooms on the timeline to change when they start and end
- Set the zoom level from 1.1× to 4×
- Turn cursor follow on or off for each zoom
- Add click ripples, a spotlight or a cursor highlight
Works on Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS
Most auto-zoom recorders are desktop apps for a single operating system. Demique runs in the browser, so the same editor works on any computer with Chrome, Edge, Arc or Brave.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add zoom to a video I already recorded?
Yes. Import any video and double-click on it in the editor to add a zoom at that point. Automatic zooms need click data recorded with the extension.
Does auto-zoom work in desktop apps?
Automatic zoom uses clicks in web pages. For desktop apps, add zooms by hand by double-clicking the video in the editor.
Is auto-zoom free?
Yes. Auto-zoom, cursor follow and click effects are included on the Free plan.
Will zooms stay in place if I cut the video?
Yes. Zooms, titles and captions stay attached to the moment they belong to when you trim, cut or change speed.
