What is Demique?
Demique is a free online screen recorder and product video editor. It records your screen in the browser, zooms in on every click automatically, and lets you add titles, AI captions, stickers and music before exporting an MP4 or sharing a link.
Is Demique free?
Yes. The Free plan includes 3 projects, recordings up to 5 minutes, 720p export with a small watermark, and 3 AI caption runs a month. Pro costs $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year and adds unlimited projects, 60-minute recordings, 4K 60 fps export and no watermark.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Demique runs in Chrome, Edge, Arc and Brave on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. An optional free browser extension records your clicks so zooms land on them automatically.
Where are my videos stored?
On your computer, in your browser's storage. Your recordings are never uploaded unless you create a share link. Your account only keeps your edits, and you can download the original recording any time.
Does Demique work on Windows?
Yes. Because Demique runs in the browser, it works the same on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS, with no download.
How does auto-zoom work?
While you record, the free click-capture extension notes where you click in web pages. The editor turns each click into a smooth zoom that follows your cursor. You can also add or adjust zooms by hand by double-clicking the video.
Can I add captions to a screen recording?
Yes. Generate captions with AI in one click, edit any word, then burn them into the video or export them as SRT or VTT files. You can also import an existing SRT file.
Can I add my own music?
Yes. Upload any MP3, M4A or WAV. It loops under your video and dips automatically while you talk. Use music you have the rights to.
Can I cancel Pro?
Anytime, from your billing page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and there's a 14-day refund policy.
Can I buy as a business and get a tax invoice?
Yes. At checkout, choose to buy as a business and add your company name, billing address and VAT/tax ID — they're printed on your invoice. With a valid tax ID, VAT may be reverse-charged where the law allows. Polar, our Merchant of Record, handles the tax, and you can download every invoice from Billing → Manage subscription.
Do you offer refunds?
You can request a refund within 14 days of a payment by emailing demique.contact@gmail.com. We review every request individually and approve refunds at our discretion, so they aren't guaranteed. See our Terms for the details — your statutory consumer rights aren't affected.
